Welcome to the PA NAP SACC
Welcome to the Pennsylvania Nutrition and Physical Activity Self- Assessment for Child Care (PA NAP SACC). The PA NAP SACC is a component of Keystone Kids Go!, a statewide collaboration motivated to reduce childhood obesity through increased movement, healthy nutrition choices, family engagement, and positive adult role modeling in fun, educational ways.
Using the PA NAP SACC for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
Early Learning programs in Pennsylvania are supported and encouraged to engage in a continuous cycle of quality improvement focused on improved outcomes for children and families. Along with technical assistance and professional development, Pennsylvania provides many supports and resources for programs that are linked together under the CQI framework. The PA NAP SACC is an excellent CQI tool that can support your program as you work to improve your nutrition and physical activity practice and policy.
Model Child Care Health Policies
Model Child Care Health Policies, 5th Edition, is a practical tool for writing policies that reflect best practices for health and safety in group care settings for young children. One format replicates the hard copy publication and the other contains form fields that allow users to create custom policies by inserting their site-specific details directly into the provided template.
